Shaunte Usual recently released her new single "Phoenix" which is available now for purchase on iTunes. A former NFL Cheerleader for the Washington Redskins and actress best known for her guest starring role as Patrice on HBO's The Wire, Shaunte Usual is becoming the one to watch in the music industry.

With an extensive background in the performing arts, Usual started her career as a professional NFL Cheerleader for the Washington Redskins where she had the pleasure of performing in over 25 countries for the USO and DOD. She later brought her talent to the world of theater and acting with appearances as the lead in the musical stage play, "Inner City" and HBO's "The Wire."
As her journey continued, her passion for music in all forms led her to sing background for Sa-Ra Creative Partners and eventually onto work with some of the music industry's most esteemed Grammy nominated producers including Brook D'Leau and Shafiq Husayn. And now she presents to you the latest release from her journey thus far, #TUX: The Usual Xperience; an intimate look into the heart of a woman in love.
